This Morning’s Battle with Fibromyalgia
Today, I woke up facing an intense battle. The burning pain from my fibromyalgia is more severe than it has been in a long time. It feels like fire running through my body—intense, unrelenting, and exhausting.
For those who know me personally or follow me on Facebook, you already understand a little of this journey. Some days are manageable; other days, like today, bring waves of pain that can feel overwhelming
I’ve learned over time how to cope with the constant aches.
But the burning… the burning is another battle altogether.
If the burning would ease, I could handle the pain that’s left behind. I could find a way to push through the day, to smile, to move, to live.
Today, I’m reminding myself: even in the burning, I am still here. Still fighting. Still believing for better days.
Thank you to everyone who walks this journey with me—whether through prayers, kind words, or simply understanding. It means more than you know.
