My perspective has shifted significantly. I used to have confidence in our nation’s leaders, but now I see them as power-driven individuals who often show no remorse for the well-being of the people.
The political landscape has evolved into a dominating force in our lives. It appears to prioritize power consolidation over the will of the people and the welfare of our nation. It’s disheartening to witness influential individuals engage in malevolent thoughts and actions, all while professing their love for my God and commitment to His teachings.
My frustration isn’t limited to one side of the political spectrum; it encompasses all sides. Nonetheless, this journey has taught me to place my trust in one source alone: my Lord and Savior.
LET US PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLE ESPECIALLY OUR LEADERS.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NIV): “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
